Summer Poetry Collective
We are looking for up to 10 teens to participate in our Atlanta Word Works summer poetry collective. The collective is for spoken word artists seeking to further develop their poetry, performance, and facilitation skills with near peer teaching artists. The collective is a summer long commitment, meeting 2-3 times a week in the afternoon. Poets will have the opportunity to publish their work, grow their performance and writing skills with a group of their peers, facilitate community events, and the program will conclude with a summer end group poetry performance.
